Maule/Aulnay Twinning site

The 'Comité de Jumelage de Maule et de la Vallée de la Mauldre' which is the Twinning Association of Maule and their web site. gives more details and pictures of Maule and the surrounding area. It also gives a flavour of some of the wonderful views and activities in our twin town and an insight into French culture.

Panmure Estate

More information about the history of the Panmure Estate which was touched on in this site and which helped form the link between Carnoustie and Maule can be found via this link. That site also gives the visitor a very detailed view of the whole Monikie area and some of the countryside surrounding Carnoustie.

Barry Mill

Barry Mill which is an important historical feature in the area was under threat of closure recently but thanks to the efforts of the 'Friends of Barry Mill' this was averted and this beautiful working water mill saved. If you are in the carnoustie area it is well worth a visit. You can read all about it here .
