Important Announcement
The CTA committee met on 14th March 2024 and sadly feels that we can no longer sustain any formal twinning visit activities due to lack of numbers.
We have therefore taken the difficult decision to suspend our activities for the foreseeable future.
Despite nearly 3 years of promotion and attempts to engage the wider community, there has been little interest shown by the residents of Carnoustie and area in continuing our activities.
We hope and would encourage any member with personal links to our French friends to maintain that contact and continue to arrange private visits.
It must be stressed that this is not a severing of the Carnoustie / Maule / Aulnay link, just a suspension (temporary, we hope) of “official” visits.
Should there be a renewed level of interest in, and support for,Twinning, it may be possible to re-start some activity, but this will need to be discussed at that time.
We thank all who have been members and supporters over the years.
